Tim Scott

Tim is a Certified Financial Planner® (CFP®) and has been an active Financial Planner since November 2000. Tim has extensive experience in all areas of Financial Planning, whether it be the early stages of wealth creation, or preparing strategies for clients addressing their Retirement & Estate Planning needs. Tim also advises on Business Succession Planning and has an excellent knowledge of asset structures such as trusts, companies and superannuation including Self-Managed Superannuation Funds.

Tim maintains a strong interest and a wealth of knowledge in Portfolio Construction which is enhanced by attending the Portfolio Construction Forum in Sydney several times each year.

Luke Oakes

Luke has over 10 years’ experience in the Financial Services Profession and holds a Bachelor of Economics from the University of Tasmania, an Advanced Diploma of Financial Services and SMSF Accreditation. He is also a practicing member of the Financial Planning Association of Australia (FPA).

Luke specialises in wealth creation and retirement planning strategic advice. Luke also has extensive experience in using insurance strategies to implement wealth protection advice. Luke has won industry awards for his commitment to education and advice.

Mark Ford

Mark commenced his Financial Planning career in 1990 and has been a practicing Certified Financial Planner® (CFP®) since 1999. Mark has extensive experience in all forms of Financial Planning, whether it be the early stages of wealth creation, or preparing strategies for clients addressing their Retirement and Estate Planning needs.

Mark also advises on Business Succession Planning and has excellent knowledge of asset structures such as trusts, companies and superannuation, including SMSFs. Mark is also an inaugural member of the Portfolio Construction Academy based in Sydney.

Luke Ford

Luke Ford

Luke has been employed as a Paraplanner at Ford + Scott since early 2016. His role in the business is evolving and expanding as he continues his career development. Prior to this, he worked in the construction industry, both in Australia and overseas, and travelled extensively. An avid cyclist, when not in the office he can be found on the roads around Hobart and the Huon, and has also competed in local races and charity rides.

Sammie-Jo Jozeljić

Jo started working at Ford Scott in 2007 and has since furthered her knowledge and skills by completing her Diploma of Financial Planning (RG146) with Kaplan. Jo currently works in a part-time capacity as a Paraplanner and our internal Compliance officer. Outside of work Jo balances the joys of mothering her young daughter and is expecting the birth of her second child.

Jenny commenced working with Ford Scott in 2007 with previous background in the finance industry. Jenny works full time as Office Manager. Outside of work loves walking her two dogs, Buddy and Frankie, as well as beachcombing for antique relics and sea glass.

Trent Keep

Trent commenced employment at Ford Scott in June 2018. He brings a positive attitude and friendly disposition to the office with his sharp wit and sense of humour. Trent’s interests include sport, fitness, spending time with his dog Bane, and cricket. Trent is an accomplished cricketer and is a member of the Tasmanian Cricket Academy.

Thomas joined Ford Scott in 2017 working primarily in our client services are. Thomas excels in and out of the office. He has completed a business degree at the University of Tasmania as well as being part of the Tasmanian Cricket Academy.

Louisa Polglase

Louisa joined Ford Scott in August 2018 from previous roles in the financial planning industry to further her career development. Recently, Louisa completed a Bachelor of Economics majoring in Economic Analysis and is currently studying her Masters of Financial Planning. When she is not studying or working, Louisa enjoys travelling, walking her dog Lola, and spending time at the beach.

William is a full time university student currently studying a double degree in Economics and Business at the University of Tasmania. He has become an integral member of our back-office team over the past two years. William’s other passions include playing music, DJing, and sport.

Lachie commenced at Ford Scott in January 2019 and works within the client services capacity. Currently in his fourth year of studying a double degree in Economics and Law at the University of Tasmania and will be graduating in 2020. Outside of work Lachie spends his time enjoying hobbies such as surfing and photography.
